February 1, 2024Now collecting #5 plastic!
Its nice to be able to share some good news!As of Monday 4th April, Kaipara Refuse will be accepting #5 plastics. This includes things like icecream containers, yoghurt containers etc. This means that we now accept #1 clear plastic, #2 and #5's!!! So, if any of your plastic has these numbers on the bottom inside the recycling symbol, give them a clean, and place them in your yellow recycling bag for collection, or take them into one of our recycling centres in Ruawai or Dargaville....
